The symbol left of the name is a sort of character icon- to represent her. That specific one is a design from her clan/pack

This lil buddy uses its specialized thick scales to better burrow through rough earth, relying on its incredibly sophisticated sense of smell for navigation. In open caves it also uses its long whiskers to keep track of the cave walls and other stone structures that might be in its way (hes blind)
