Apart from anything else (like politicians being worried about declining populations) this punishes the child for the decisions of the parents. Which the more you think about it, the more morally abhorrent it becomes.

It's like they're pretending there's always been full continuity between the films until now! Someone should do a timeline of non-continuity points in the films to help them out.

Where can I find this? I read some of Che's diaries and found him immensely unlikeable. Always been a bit puzzled by his cult status.

And thanks for writing it! I've had left-leaning academics talking to me about 'mob mentality' and claiming there is a respectable established literature on it. I never had time to look into it but I was happy (though not surprised) to discover the literature is not so respectable.

I worry you're too liberal with the term 'progressive' here. Lib Dems are economically regressive and hostile to strong programs for the public good. We may need to do deals with them but we should do so with eyes wide open - they are economic poison at the Westminster level.
