The only time I got the opportunity to go to an Ashes test match in England was in 1975 at Edgebaston and the day I was to attend was abandoned due to vandals digging up the pitch. Not my day !!

Fair enough. I was at the SCG and sat next to a English bloke who has been here since November. He has seen every test & says it was the trip of a lifetime. I was totally outnumbered by English fans.😆
