Fourth day post-op, home from the hospital, moving around minimally...I wind up breaking my small toe after accidentally kicking a pillar whole walking by. Now everything hurts

I'm appalled. I'm now receiving unsolicited AI generated "reviews" about my varied published works from such supposed academic sites as Academia.edu. Why is this being promoted? When are they going to realize that AI is slowly destroying creativity & critical thought?

Researching for this new collection piece is quite hellish but I hope it will be worth it in the end.

So my body has developed this fantastic new little quirk (yes, this is sarcasm). Whenever I have a writing deadline due, and I'm in the thick of it, the tip of my nose gets ridiculously cold. Once my piece is submitted, my nose returns to normal body temperature.

Well, it looks like my work was also illegally stolen to feed Skynet. I offered no consent for this absolute garbage project. I have no issues with offering people my work free of charge. I do not, however, condone the promotion of AI at all.
Both of my monographs, at least one edited collection, and numerous articles and reviews were all part of a pirated database and then used without my consent to build a planet-burning plagiarism machine for a boot-licking billionaire.

How’s your day shaping up?
Meta used at least 16 of my books, and numerous articles, to help train the AI it will use to make billions.

What a day. First day back to work after being sick all week. I just want my jammies, a book, and a cup of coffee.

What an incredibly busy, yet fulfilling day. New chapter finished, course syllabus completed, and I even managed to get six hours of sleep. Things are good

Publishing houses should not be allowed to release a book to the public until the author reviews and approves the final script. 😡

It was nice to have a break for the holidays to focus on my writing. Tomorrow is back to reality.

Stuff like this drives me nuts. Why was this person even allowed to leave a review if they didn't read the book?
