I just hit the 2 year mark in VRChat. I owe my friend Polychroma more than I can put into words. I'm sure I'd be in a much worse place mentally if she hadn't gifted me a headset and dragged me into VRChat two years ago. Even my therapists agree that it's been a huge help for my mental health.

Months ago, I introduced a group of friends to Macross. Every week we've been getting together and watching 2-4 episodes or a movie. We've seen SDF, DYRL?, Macross Plus, and now, today, we'll be watching the final episodes of my favourite Macross series.

Samus art I did for the release of Samus Returns on the 3DS. A poster I made for The Sprawl featuring many of the characters that appear in the comic. The comic is on hiatus until my living situation stabilizes to the point where I can focus on self improvement. However, there are five complete chapters to enjoy. A four page spread from the second chapter of The Sprawl. The pages depict a colossal colony ship and the city that grew from it, followed by a character arriving at the edge of the city. Three pages I made for a black and white comic project that I never got any further with. Shortly after I made these pages I had my first bout of homelessness due to my disability.

By the end of the month I need $475 for security deposit on top of moving costs (truck rental, etc). On top of that, I rely on SNAP, which I'm not getting because of trump. So any extra I'd get would go towards food.

I've been trying to get disability due to my anxiety/depression since October, 2021. In that time I've been homeless, lost my job, all while fighting social security to get a fair hearing. I recently got a letter from the state to expect contact from a judge in the near future. On 10/20/2025 I got a 90 day notice from my landlord. The building has a roach problem and the landlord is kicking out everyone in the affected apartments so he can tear the place apart. Unfortunately that leaves me looking for a new place to live. I've been paying $450/mo with everything plus internet included and I doubt I could afford much more. I'm on food stamps for groceries, and public assistance which is only $350/mo plus whatever else I can get to make up the difference for rent. I'm going to need money to move, plus security deposit and first month's rent at any new place. I'm not sure how much I'll need total, but if you can help at all I'd sincerely appreciate it. I think it's tame, but there is blood so I'm adding the graphic content tag. A character that I'd planned to bring into a future Sprawl story. I had been binge watching the entire Friday the 13th series when I drew this so the character took on an appearance like that of Jason.

Ringtail mailed me the remaining stock of my books, since they've gotten out of the book business. Bad news, no book 5. Good news, a whole bunch of the 1-3 collection. Over 200 pages of comics, cover art, and concept sketches.

I'd love to pitch this to a new publisher like Image or Iron Circus.

"Just make it exist first, you can make it good later" applies to #comics. I start with an outline which I then turn into thumbnails, which I turn into rough full size pages, which I then clean up and colour. Take that first step to get your idea down in front of you, then you can work with it.
LOG:04 page 27. A maintenance worker wandering through dark corridors looking for another worker. This is a rough page, very loose sketches and blocked out shapes for each panel to get the page composition down. LOG:04 page 27, the final page. The linework has been cleaned up, and colours/effects have been applied.

Been watching Macross 7 with another group of friends. They've been really into it. We're down to the final four episodes of the main series and I can't wait to share the end with them next week. It's my favourite series finale in anime.

It makes me extremely happy to see a game like #Silksong be such a phenomenon among gamers, but it does make me wonder....how is it that Silksong is so popular, but so many people sleep on Metroid? Silksong sold more than double what the most popular #Metroid game ever sold.

Nerd talk for a moment, but it's always bothered me that the Constitution is a "heavy cruiser" but the Miranda is a "light cruiser". They're about the same size. The Miranda is actually larger by volume, and it's more heavily armed. What, exactly, is "light" about it?
The Constitution class refit from Star Trek. It's only "bigger" than the Miranda class in that it's more spread out with long slender pylons and a tall, thin neck. By actual volume it's the smaller of the two ships. And it's more lightly armed. The Miranda class from Star Trek. Basically, the Reliant. It's a more compact design in that all the elements are brought closer together and the "primary hull" and "secondary hull" are one solid structure. By volume, it's LARGER than the Constitution and more heavily armed with those large super sized phaser cannons.
