Lastly, if you're a fan for any of the t-dolls because of the physicality they project, the gameplay is going to let you down compared to the room interactions. AK15 is described as a gorilla on the battlefield. AK15 in gameplay is a clunky and wide mech suit that fills the screen with missiles.

Playing the game as a game instead of a hangout room+slot machine also means dealing with the broken assets and jank associated with dramatically rewriting the first year of the game's lifespan and clumsily retooling existing assets to match it.

There's actual people out there imposing self unit restrictions and uploading their challenge runs, there's also people out there performing speedclears of stages, neither get traffic and neither are good for your pull economy.

GFL2's gameplay has a theoretically solid core but its units are so broken (and every new release breaks it more) that its treated like statutory obligation instead of the point of playing

It is one, but I think its one that can't be legislated out of existence without structurally destroying what makes youtube an institution to begin with.
I don't think that's a bad thing, but if I were to take a hatchet to youtube in the name of this problem, I'd do so from a different angle.
