A great late supper at Fallow this week, all wrapped up in cosy rugs on their sheltered terrace. My #StarDish - a deconstructed brill curry with samphire pakora and lime pickle yogurt - letting the fish shine.👏. Plus a Bourgogne Aligote, warm service and recommendations for more dinner places!
This is my brill brill curry - samphire pakora with lime pickle yogurt on the left and perfectly roasted, flaking brill on the right Starters: Smoked mackerel pâté, with zesty tones of pickled lemon and pieces of smoked mackerel, plus hot grilled focaccia. And Burrata with crispy / sticky spicy caramelised onions Dairy cow fillet with pepper; Pommes Anna with a truffle mayonnaise Smoked mackerel pâté, with zesty tones of pickled lemon and pieces of smoked mackerel, plus hot grilled focaccia. And the view on the sheltered terrace.

Thrilling Scots-noir production of Macbeth at the Harold Pinter Theatre, with an all-round superb cast led by David Tennant and Cush Jumbo. Stripped-back staging, spookily intimate eavesdropping through the headphones - and the best porter-scene ever. 👏
