I'm confused. Include shrubberies in what way? What did we end up with?

Who's surprised?

Is there nobody in Trump's orbit who can explain to him the difference between a communist and a democratic socialist? I'd think a POTUS would want to be aware of such a fundamental distinction.

I appreciate the Pitchbot keeping me up to date on the news, but what is the source for this story?
November 6, 2025 at 2:37 PM
I don't think you know that yet.

What would be an example of a daylighting treatment?

I am intrigued by the idea of raised intersections and crosswalks. Has that been tried anywhere in Ann Arbor?
September 10, 2025 at 12:48 AM
Just to be clear, I was not advocating for enforcement as a solution. I appreciate your thoughtful answer. Nevertheless, it is hard to make up for bad driving.
September 9, 2025 at 3:30 PM
Seriously, what do you think should be done? I know there was some targeted enforcement at that location some years back. The police come for a week or so, write some tickets, and raise the consciousness of some drivers. I actually think that may have improved things for a while.

Since you mentioned it, I would like to recommend a nice concert on September 4. annarborobserver.com/mc-events/cr... Discover the community of AACTMAD while you are at it.

Did Trump read your book? He must have thought you were giving him advice. (Yeah, I know. He didn't read any books. But maybe Stephen Miller did?)
August 25, 2025 at 8:54 PM
Do you have a specific example of the being said? I think I lack some context.
August 25, 2025 at 2:07 PM
I understand that for city council, but at every public meeting of every commission? It seems excessive.
August 20, 2025 at 10:07 PM
Care to elaborate?
August 20, 2025 at 10:03 PM
Thank you. I was not aware of the detailed requirements of the OMA.
August 20, 2025 at 9:58 PM
You don't even need to be outdoors. If you are inside with a window, how many trees do you see? From the middle of my house I see at least a dozen without moving.
August 19, 2025 at 5:07 PM
You don't have to tell me. I am well aware of that frustration, from personal experience.
August 18, 2025 at 3:34 PM
Sorry. I do appreciate the advantage if it makes bicycles a detected class. I didn't mean to downplay that
August 18, 2025 at 2:02 PM
I'm happy to hear this, but what will it accomplish exactly? Will it somehow keep people from driving in the bike lane?
August 18, 2025 at 1:58 PM
If you live downtown or close to downtown without a car, DH&G is the most convenient garden-supply store. The owner should embrace this part of her market. People with motor vehicles can just as easily drive out of town to less expensive stores.
August 17, 2025 at 2:16 PM
Doesn't diminishing vehicle traffic make driving easier?
August 17, 2025 at 1:35 PM
That was disappointing. I enjoyed having a positive view of this business.
