It’s also worth noting that it’s literally the German word for leader. It’s not used as a standalone anymore because of the Nazi connections, but Vox isn’t exactly thinking straight right now. So maybe less calling himself a Nazi and more calling himself a leader and using a term he should not be.

However, when they censor swear words, they just censor one letter. For example on “motherf*cking king of hell”. This was censored as “f*****” which leaves room for some ambiguity.

Regardless, I think it’s really incredible wordplay by Sam Haft and Andrew Underberg and not enough people are talking about it.

I had that double take of “Hold tf up did he just say what I think he said?” and turned on subtitles to see it was “furor” on Prime. Then later saw that the Hellaverse singalong video censored it, therefore leaving it vague. But we all know what it sounds like.

People should have BEEN boycotting Starbucks, but better late than never!
