A sniper from the DC Emergency Response Team covers a team as they search a home of a murder suspect. Two murders on Tuesday brought the two week total to 16 homicides in D.C., and 69 for the year (same as it was last year at this time).

HHS Director Robert F. Kennedy did not swim in Rock Creek as he claimed, but rather was in a waterfall pool of an unnamed stream which is a tributary of the Rock Creek. It’s over 1,200 feet and 90 feet altitude above the creek, but the stream is also somewhat polluted.
