I read books and write papers
Reading: Come as You Are by Nagoski
Writing: What is the wrong of Insensitivity?
Such a philosopher. Two entrenched positions? Nope.
Everyone is wrong. It's this other thing. Who are you? Alan Turing telling philosophers of mind that debates about intelligence are pointless and passing as intelligent is all that matters? Like, calm down over there we get it you're fancy.

What's the dream pick up scenario?

Never a bad time to be a sentimentalist. It's explicitly pro capitalist by design.

IIRC, this is similar to what Endre Begby is getting at in his paper on evidential preemption.

Super lovely, thanks for sharing! Next time I'm back in the state I'm thinking of camping in Lake Pend Oreille. Would that be close enough to see the northern lights with a bit of luck?

Woah! I'm a boise girlie who hasn't been back to ID in ages. What area is that? Like I don't want to be invasive but how astonishingly beautiful. I'm assuming north of CDA?

I don't know if this is basic. But lining all the drawers drastically reduces cleaning time and gives you a cover for mold and things in case something spills without you knowing.

Look, Peter is a diehard UMD fan and an aspiring transphobe radicalized by people disagreeing with him gently over a publication he doesn't care that much about! He has a lot going on right now!

His brief adventure in deontic logic is my personal favorite.

The true challenge of marriage is getting your easiest critic to laugh at your jokes when they've degraded from years of having an easier critic.

Hey, your career and passions are part of who you are and they matter! Fwiw, my wife and I exclusively listen to episodes you're on because we love the way you talk. Those jerks are the worst. Please accept you have some real fans though and that says something super cool about you and your work <3

Weren't you softly critiquing the creators making the game easier a little while ago? Is your preference that it stays the same level of suck? Or would you find it reasonable for updates that make it to suck less?

They just have a healthy disrespect for the law!

I think it depends on how well organized the longer paper is. If it is hard to keep track of the central argument because the author is responding to so many possible objections, then the shorter papers. If the longer paper is well organized though, probably the longer paper.

Did your lawyer brain contrive a wild case or is this a real deal you're trying to figure out?

Good question. What is it?

One of his students is a friend of mine. Found out today Peter thought it looked right, when asked about obvious flaws said he hadn't thought about them, didn't think empirical methods mattered because he thought it was intuitive, and when told how this would harm trans people he didn't care. Yikes.

In your best Alexandre Dumas style, paint the opening scene. I double dog dare you.

Every moral philosophy undergrad: what about this one option that isn't part of the thought experiment and completely changes the point
