Yes, we also have a very old washer & dryer. While my daughter’s much newer front-loading appliances are beautiful, our washer & dryer just keep going. Our last repair the appliance repairman told us if we move take these with us, they’re the last ones that are worth repairing.

There were no products in the 70’s & 80’s that are like the products we use today. Planned obsolescence has nothing to do with breakage, it’s the desire for the newest & best. Photography has vastly improved with new iPhones so I want them. None of my iPhone or Android smartphones have ever broken.
