It’s always surprising to see some family members so receptive of the idea that “Chinese” or “American” is a construct that serves the very few at the top. Am I good at explaining my research in plain words now?

Someone has made this post to highlight the double jeopardy of Chinese international students I brought up many times. Nationalists will always exploit the transnational ties of expats/immigrants for their political gains.
