While breed counts, the personality matters. Ours are Oriental Shorthairs, ie Siamese with different colouring and can often be standoffish, but our three are total lovebugs.
They get heaps of attention and they give same in return.

Have you tried the designated #catTV shows? My question comes with a warning, as our three felines are so intrigued they paw the screen then search behind to find locate the whereabouts of birds, squirrels and chipmunks.

Move to a smaller city they said…
You can swim in the water at the beach, have easy access to ski hills.
Small town community “feels” with big city amenities.
What they didn’t tell me; tornado warnings and lake effect snow.
Note please, that shovel reaches my shoulder when I’m standing straight!

Today I learnt that alpacas hum! As a little girl when visiting Riverdale Zoo in Toronto I stood at the llama enclosure watching said creatures on the far side of a field. My little girl voice called out “here llama llama” which apparently is the call to action to bring them to me. Today, alpacas.

Forgot to post Sunday dinner, it was Greek themed as our new local grocery store has a butcher in house and while we don’t eat meat often, the fresh pork loin was calling out for me to make #tzatziki and lemon roast potatoes, in the castiron pans of course!

I intentionally time my walk to catch a glimpse of avian friends; yesterday it was #eagle, not a common bird for the area. Today #hawk, but I was slow fetching my camera from a pocket. #CanadaGeese have been taking respite in a plowed field but I suspect hawk scared them off.
