#ShowMeYourKnits I've only ever crocheted a vest for me years ago. I did a fair isle one for my eldest but no picture. So instead I've included 2 vests my mum made one for herself and one for me. Both are Sasha Kagan designs from one of her books. Both very precious since she passed in 2023.🧶

Love Caitlin Hunter's designs. I recently bought the yarn to do the Alpine Blossoms tee but won't start it until I finish a jumper for my daughter. Need to do a more up-to-date pic of my daughter's jumper as I'm currently knitting the 2nd sleeve. Really enjoyed watching your video.

Cats just love quilts, even when unfinished. This one was sitting on the ironing board waiting for the binding to be hand stitched.

I haven't been out much this last week so no knitting in public places. I have reached the armholes on the 2nd side of my daughter's jumper. Knitting is going well, the pattern despite having 14 rows is very easy to remember and work out where I'm up to.

🧶#knit I finally finished the socks I was knitting for my husband using Sox alpaca easy wash still need blocking. Now, I am moving onto restarting a jumper for my daughter from the spotlight Makers catalogue vol 5. Acrylic yarn as she has sensitive skin. Rib pattern with lace both sides.

You can use mattress stitch or slip stitch squares together using crochet. You can make garments as well as blankets with grannie squares. Picture below is a jumper I made for my granddaughter. She chose the pattern and colours.

Tough question to answer with just words. I'm right-handed, so I hold the yarn on my left hand. See the images. When I crochet, I hold the tail as shown in the 2nd picture. Which helps hold the chains at tension. 1

I'm not game to give magic loop a try yet, so I'm knitting a pair the old-fashioned way on double pointed needles. Which I'm finding relaxing. Yarn is Sox Easy Wash Alpaca using 2.25 needles. #knitting

I can't face politics at the moment, so I'm focusing on my cats and craft. I have just got a new kitten. He's called Griffin and he has no fear. He stalks the older cats and chases their tails. Found some fellow crafters on Bluesky and lots of cat pics.

2 of our 4... Griffin is a new addition and 9 weeks old. Tiger is another boy and looks after Griff. The girls are still adjusting to the newcomer.

Beautiful work! I have a number of projects on the go. A crocheted jumper and a knitted one, but this is the one that has captured my interest at the moment. A pair of socks in Sox Easywash alpaca.
