It follows the story of Willa, an eleven year old orphan whose children's home is at threat of closure due to lack of funds. Somehow, this pre-teen read manages to cover more social issues than a left-wing newspaper in Pride month. From drug overdoses, class divides and animal welfare to colonialism, LGBTQ+ and disabilities, everything is handled sensitively and in an accessible way for children.

Wonderfully drawn; a student is murdered, another hexed and Cella has been tasked with solving the mystery, saving the students and restoring the reputation of the school. I really, really enjoyed this book. The two 'dimidiums', Cella and Max, have a great/tense relationship that somehow manages to come secondary to the main plot.

A korean webcomic (릴리 오브 더 밸리) written and drawn by Rangrari, who is most known by her "Bad thinking diary" series. You can read it for free on the distributor, Ridibooks. Song of the Hell Witch is a feminist romantasy with strong Robert Jordan feels. Perfect reading for Wheel of Time fans who would like a little more romance and a little less length! It's a second chance romance between Prudence Merriweather (once thief, now duchess) and Puck Reed (once thief, now thief lord) in a bleak dystopian world. The magic system in this novel is unique.
