Afgelopen week ontving ik bericht dat WML, die ons drinkwater levert, en daarin monopolist is, haar leveringsvoorwaarden aanpast. Vrolijk schrijven ze dat het me altijd vrij staat, wanneer ik het niet met de nieuwe voorwaarden eens ben, mijn contract op te zeggen.

The opening plenary of #metascience 2025 articulates in many voices a coherent message: could metascience please become an operations research branch? While I understand where the desire comes from, it would strip metascience from most of its remaining academic qualities.
