The other hotrod kit has several tricks as well. Two offset partial worm gears which drive the pistons in the engine, and a shaft leading to a basic differential.

And rebuilt. There is something much to enjoy about Technic. Every kit is a well thought out engineering exercise.
The skid loader has a lift/scoop/dump bucket. This Motorola has a wonderful steering rack.
