This beautiful 17 year old girl passed away this week. I can't really put into words the hole she leaves in my heart, she was with me for literally half my life. She helped me through so much, she was a constant, loving, and joyful companion. I hope she knew how much she meant to me. 💛

We had quite a few gigantic cucumbers from our balcony garden this summer, so we used them to make my grandmother's Mustard Pickles recipe with, honestly, resounding success. No one's ever made them but my mom and my grandmother, and they are my ultimate comfort food. I'm so so proud and happy! 🥰
