tl dr just. its always they do a lot of stuff right and just completely off the mark. and diff people take these things differently so.

there were compelling ideas AND we were introduced to more information and worldbuilding which would. 2 those that enjoy that stuff a lot would see the story as great but then on the opp side character wise it was kind of. a lot of missed potential? it was a perfect setup for compelling interaction-

and thats why its so polarizing bc 2 different people their minds would prioritise different aspects of a story 2 determine how good it is 2 them. there is some personal bias in this but hopefully the more objective view comes across
and for the event story with the cat i forgot the name-

like w/ camellyas story ive seen people say they like it bc of the execution of everything n to that i agree that presentation everything was amazing but story just wasnt It for me. i feel mayb it was good execution+compelling ideas but the Story just. ends up as being entirely centered on Rover-

but here's hoping !! like kuro does have their reputation for pulling off combat well too so i feel they could absolutely do that kind of complexity with their characters
i think you can kind of see bits n pieces of that potential too like with sanhuas charged atks so now we can only hope .
