this one felt like a real simple sketch, i just knew i wanted something green
or... did i just want to draw feet? maybe both, i don't get to draw feet that often and i need more practice with it anyway. it'd be pretty bad if i was still struggling with feet

comets are straight glowy lines, but for being as simple as they are, they sure do look pretty. i think it's just funny to make such a silly little dude observe a natural light show in the night sky and think "hmm, yeah. i'm thinking pasta tonight"

i just wanted to experiment and try out this today
haven't explored much in light that bleeds through materials. it's tricky but important learning. if i drew more of the environment, i'd have shadows that can add more ambience for something like this but i realized it too late

currently just enjoying the use of my brush to make blotchy blobs and they happen to look great for making trees and minor background details easily. it's easy to use compared to the coloring brush i've been using because it doesn't smear or mix colors

been using my lineart brush to color lately, it actually gets the better job done making things look textured and dithered, giving it a more watercolor/marker look. i have to try drawing those photography paintings with it to see how it comes out
