Got a new GPU today, an RX 580 2048SP to replace my GT 730.
I can finally use Wayland, Proton WITHOUT Proton_Sarek AND FINALLY I CAN PLAY DREAM BBQ!!

My dad recently did a quick cardboard case plate for the back of my Optiplex 7020 and it's been doing wonders. If you got one of these you should maybe consider doing it because of how basically nonexistent the airflow usually is in these things.
It's got two 90mm fans in the back with decent CFM.

For all the grievances Linux gives me, stuff like this brings me back sometimes.
Thanks to me using Debian, I actually can play this game, which is funny because I've had this game for a year at this point, but couldn't play it until now.

I DIDDDD ITTTTT. It was the most scuffed loadout possible that really had NOTHING that SYNERGIZED but it WORKED.

Am I insane or did I realize just now how way better optimized Linux seems. I dunno how MacOS fares but I tried to limit disk I/O to 2MBs on Windows 7 (admittably it only has service pack 1 and no updates) and this thing runs terribly. I don't even think I write 2MBs in 2 minutes on my actual Linux.
