Apple is behind in AI, badly. To survive this game they need to make a big acquisition - and I’m thinking they will. But whom would they buy? Perplexity comes to mind, they’re raising at a $14bn valuation, so might be doable. OpenAI is probably too expensive at $300bn. Who else could Apple buy?

I once wrote a whole blog post about why Apple should make a TV :). Now it seems to be back on the agenda, and I wonder why - perhaps because Vision Pro hasn’t been a success, and the glasses-based future might seem murky to Apple. Nevertheless, I for one would definitely buy an Apple TV :)
