Today is the 56th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots. It also is a very special day for me. 11 years ago @amypeine.bsky.social and I stood before our loved ones and vowed to love each other and support one another and I swore an oath to a little girl to be the best dad I could be.

I had a mass the size of a large grape removed from my pelvis a couple of hours ago, the surgeon doesn't know what it was so it was sent off to the VA in Minneapolis. Let's hope it was nothing!🤞

I truly forgot how much I hate antipersonnel mines. Seeing the images of kids who are missing limbs because they picked up something that looks like a toy, but in reality contains 40 grams of explosives is just super heartbreaking

A couple of pictures from the promotion ceremony on Wednesday night. I had the honor of being promoted with two others. One was my old LT, whose bugles I now wear. He got promoted to Captain and now leads the squad old squad of our newly promoted Assistant Chief.
