She sits in that chair more than I do, and that is my favorite chair.

From dusk till dawn, I will likely find her sitting there.

I am married to another introvert exactly like myself.
Being alone together, you could say. We have a deal that whenever you like, one can ask for "no talking at all". And that is respected. Each of us gets it completely.

I am from Finland, though, and here the default is that no one talks to you. Even when you pass by someone in the woods, people usually don't even look at you, and if someone says "Hello" they get the evil eye.

So there is that.

You didn't read that Raptitude post, I guess. He gave some good reasons.

And how you gonna meet new people if you never talk to any?

Used to be difficult for me too. After working a couple decades as a bike mechanic, I had to learn the routines of talking to anyone.

You should also read this - written by an introvert - about the social importance of talking to people you don't know

The Dying Art We All Depend On
A history buff friend of mine said that the art of medieval fencing was lost completely. At some point, the last person who really knew how to do it had died.

Our bunny wakes us up at around 3 or 4 am in the Nordic summer, when sun barely sets ;)
Not cool.

In the winter she does it around 8 o clock, which is fine.

That is a good - and scary - theory. First round Covid - up to 6 points decline in IQ if you had it bad. Later ones - a couple points off every time. And you have a planet full of people getting steadily less intelligent and more belligerent, with predictably horrific results.
