I really enjoy the small ritual of alchemy I get to participate in every time I make coffee.
A standalone kitchen island with various coffee implements. On the top of the island it's a message board with the phrase "Good coffee takes passion :)", an electric kettle, a coffee carafe with freshly brewed coffee inside and a drip brewer placed on top of it, a manual coffee grinder, two loose tea containers, two vacuum sealing coffee containrrs, a red mug, and a light red kitchen towel. The top shelf underneath carries various coffee mugs and culs. The bottom shelf holds several different coffee brewers and a cast iron kettle. Above the kitchen island on the wall hangs a print of a modified "Bold and Brash" Squidward painting with Miku hair and "01" arm marking.

I haven't looked at my DMs for over 24 hours, what gives? If I'm actually being rate-limited it must be an extremely low limit.

Can't access my conversations on the android app or website.
Chat requests and Retry show the same error.

I need to check something with the SOCD label and the order of the start/select buttons because either I got them switched up or the PS4 and PS4+Audio have slightly different pin orders.

Either way, it's functional! Now to make an enclosure.

Comparing the current and the new.

I'd solder these if I wasn't planning on doing a toaster-oven solder for the USB-C connector.

Need to get some acrylic for this.

Finally got around to adding the last couple things to my custom PCB lever-less FG controller and submitted an order to JLCPCB.

I'll be using a Brooks PS4+Audio board with the PS5 addon and eventually have it sandwiched between some acrylic.

Hopefully I didn't mess anything up.

Full sized boards will cost more, so made a mini tester board to make sure everything is wired up correctly. Now to just wait for it to arrive!
If things are quick it's possible I could have at least a bare PCB controller ready for Frosty's lmao
PCB prototype for testing, intended to make sure pin connections are correct. Areas on the top for touchpad, home, option, and start buttons followed by a switch and USB-C connector. Below that row on the top left has solder points for an audio jack. The middle is occupied by a brook board header pin setup. Part way towards the bottom on the right is a 16 pin header for testing button pin outs. Bottom center is a PS5 expansion slot.

Work had a potluck so I made cheesecake. Only have a small cake pan so I also made mini cupcake sized ones too.

Overestimated how many people would even get dessert and also how much they would eat so I have most of it leftover... help.
Sitting on a white kitchen counter is a 6 inch spring form cake pan with 11 of 16 slices of cheesecake left. Surrounding it are 12 cupcake sized mini cheesecakes in their wrappers.

Ever since I got in the top 10 for my local arcade's Jubeat rankings it's been a goal for mine to break into the top 5. Finally got it tonight!!

Barely, but now I need to solidify my standing and aim higher :)

Started playing at the beginning of 2023 so not bad progress!

The custom leverless controller I built and have been playing fighting games on for the last two years made from an old cigar humidor. Brooks PS4+Audio with PS5 addon.

Orange buttons on the face are directional, with two UPs.

I plan on making a new lower profile one for traveling.
