Peercoin blockchain (soft) forks at block #801331. SIGHASH_ANYPREVOUT (APO) is now activated.

APO is a soft-fork that allows a transaction to be signed without reference to any specific previous output, such that any output with a matching signature can be dynamically added later.

Frosty is now public. The package makes FROST Taproot threshold signatures available to Flutter apps and is used for the Noosphere ROAST implementation that makes it easy to coordinate and create these signatures.

Thanks to @zcashfoundation.bsky.social for their great work on frost-secp256k1-tr!

62.6% of last 1000 blocks signal that they are ready for the v0.15 "APO" fork. This protocol update is about making DLCs nicer to use, ANYPREVOUT (APO) ensures that all outcomes of a DLC are in place before it is funded so that all parties to the DLC do not need to trust one another.

Participating in the consensus process by finding blocks does not require fancy hardware like it does with pretty much any other chain. Therefore, our governance is accessible to everyone. The optimal minting size is ~150 ppc at the moment, which is like $50 and runs on a Watt.
