The persistence of enforced disappearances and the inhumane treatment of affected families represent a failure of state institutions to respect and uphold the rule of law.

PAANK demands that the Balochistan government immediately reopen the hostel and respect the students’ fundamental rights. We stand in solidarity with the students sitting day and night in Quetta’s bitter cold; we support their rightful demands for education and dignity.

Those forcibly disappeared victims include Dr. Zaffar (son of Mohammad Raheem), Raheem Jan (s/f Dr. Zaffar), Dr. Mohammad Kareem (s/f Bahram), Mehrab (s/oLal Baksh), and Abdost Baloch.
