She could have had it so much better. I do feel for her. Show business is...a business that cares very little for individual humans no matter how much they pay for PR. When your appeal stops making money, care for your contributions end.

I've always called #VeronicaLake the "Queen of Snoods." She had the best reason to wear them and did so impeccably in her everyday life during the 40s. She was more than willing to eschew her trademark for practicality as so many of our long-haired Queens did.

Below is a picture of those matching cars at the Chatsworth Ranch Ronni built with husband de Toth. This was the only home that Ronni ever owned. It was repossessed for back taxes in 1951.

It does! Also, his chemistry with Myrna Loy is so palpable. Like so many actresses, she intensely felt for him.

I actually have this one on VHS, but I think it's in a box somewhere back in Orlando.
