Correction: I wrote the above as I was configuring it. Come to find out, there is a bypass config setting for Authelia that makes it even easier:

Best part is that I can set the swag nginx proxy confs so that when a request comes from inside my network, I can chose to bypass authelia altogether, and get to the app without any auth.

Check your cabin air filter, which is usually behind the glove box. Could be where water is getting in from under the hood.

I think it only updates once every 24 hours per SimpleFIN, but if it was more frequent you could set your lights to flash once you dip below some threshold
