In the end, they are losing Billions in tourism dollars from around the globe. It’s quite evident Trump’s government doesn’t want Canadians to visit, vacation or winter in the US. Personally, we are happily taking this years trip to the East Coast. In the coming years, the US is fly over country.

A Difficult decision for me personally. Despite companies being US based, they employ Canadian workers. Shopping for products made in Canada is my prime goal. however this can be tricky - Like the automotive industry, many hardware products are manufactured on both sides of the border.

We are staying in Canada as long as Trump is POTUS & quite possibly beyond that. Why would I want to give the threatening & insulting US any money? Why would I gamble with having my plans denied or possible detention?

We will always be your friends & in time we will visit again your country & want your products again. In the meanwhile we will be moving on & forming new relationships with nations that are more respectful & quite frankly, stable.

From day 1 he started threatening, insulting & belittling us. Now we have begun paving new economic & military relationships with predictable & stable partners. Even if a friendlier US government emerges post Trump, we’ve moved on. We are polite until we are pushed too far.

Absolutely! I agree with you 100%. BYD produces a better vehicle than Tesla by all metrics.

“Is on its way”? I’m afraid that bridge has been crossed. As a Canadian, I can tell you the relationship with the US has changed forever. Massive boycotts of products & travel have happened & new military & economic alliances are forming. The continuing threats & insults left us no choice.
