The thesis is ultimately about Duty, to each other and to a society. It is an idea I find deliberately absent in conversations with those who would reflexively defend a man’s right to keep that Billion dollars he “made”.

I know this first hand, having previously tried desperately to refactor a “let’s just port it as-is from knockout js” 1k line abomination that was 7 components in a trench coat.
And I DID IT, but they wouldn’t ship it because they were drowning in poor decision-making and lack of leadership.
