The tragedy is that new infotech is no more making life better for quite sometime. It is a tool to fool people, to be mesmerized by magic yet give money. People are becoming poorer because they waste money in tech driven gaming, hardcore porn, gossiping, meaningless trolling.

What America has lost in recent years is the sweet smell of democracy that attracted talented people to deal with the USA as buyers, sellers, visitors, settlers and to listen to what Americans said. No more. Now it is rich and ruled by arrogant dictators who have no faith in democracy.

Gun culture will cause more deaths as MAGA movement gets more political and religious support. Whites, blacks, hispanics, Asians all will be easy targets as Trump has successfully divided Americans into us and them. Good bye to concept of melting pot. USA will surely start becoming a Myanmar.

Can anyone explain how and why USA and Canada became prosperous, open and highly efficient nations but all other countries of American continent remained laggards when the settlers in the whole continent came from the same Europe?

As someone who is Hispanic, I chose to venture out today even to my local Mexican Grocery Stores. They were dead and completely understaffed today. What would have otherwise been a busy Thursday evening after work rush.

MAGA goons are not controlled by Trump. They are directed by local churches. Churches never shrug from sacrificing lives and freedoms if it gets them more money and men ready to destroy. Crusades never stopped.

Protest against king's brutal decrees is a must whatever be the costs. When young grow up & kids would ask dad, mom, what were you doing when Trump was taking away democracy, what would you say? Kudos to protestors of Los Angeles. By slowing draconian steps of ICE, they have done immense service to democracy. Hope that people of all other countries where Trump like leaders are flexing muscles will be ready if and when required.

It is not a question of immigrants anymore. Trump's action of sending Federal Military units to Los Angeles is an attack on people who voted for another party. MAGA are testing various tactics to see how far can they go to create a Christian USA like Islamic Iran.
