In the end, it was not Daniel, but his enemies who exploited government authority for their own benefit, and were willing to undermine both the law and justice to get what they wanted, who were devoured by the lions.
The irony is that the sycophants, wannabe tyrants, and megalomaniac store-brand pharaohs of the day who most need to learn from Ozymandias’s fate are precisely those whose arrogance blinds them to the poem’s message.

I've noticed emails, work documents, and chat messages are starting to sound creepily similar with a lifeless machine-like detachment in tone and style. I'm concerned that written communication is devolving into a singular robotic voice due to the now pervasive use of GENAI.

Repeat after me:

I will never bow to a monarch. I will not comply with any order or command that results in cruelty. I will never seek to humiliate or dehumanize anyone. I will not contort my values for personal profit. I will defend the vulnerable. I will be kind.

Big beautiful factories. The best factories in the world.

Proud to have taken to the Atlanta streets today with fellow Americans to confront the vacuous carelessness with which our country is being governed. #handsoff ATL 🇺🇸🍑

The first step in dismantling a system is neutralizing or eliminating those who understand it. If you'd asked me, I would have said there's no way Donald Trump and his associates have ever read Shakespeare. But...

I, [insert], DO SOLEMNLY SWEAR (OR AFFIRM) THAT AS AN ATTORNEY AND AS A COUNSELOR OF THIS COURT I WILL CONDUCT MYSELF UPRIGHTLY AND ACCORDING TO LAW, AND THAT I WILL SUPPORT THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES. DATE: SIGNATURE: BAR I.D. NO.

It’s all or nothing.

If a law firm won’t stand up to those who ignore the Constitution and fight for the rule of law—the system its attorneys are oath-bound to uphold and that made its partners rich—how can clients trust it to fight for them when the stakes are high and sacrifice is the only path to justice?

There's work to be done. All hands on deck.
We’re the DCCC — the organization solely dedicated to electing Democrats and flipping the House in 2026.

This is our new Bluesky account. Can you help us out by liking this post, following our account, and sharing?

Elon Musk must go. Sovereignty flows from the people and only officials selected through constitutional methods get to wield power in our name. 🇺🇸

“There’s no one, certainly, that the party, I would argue, looks to, or feels led by, or inspired by, is the truth,” --Democrat, Member of the US House Of Representatives.

Will a leader emerge out of the DNC's core or will the party need to be disrupted for it to regain it's footing?

1/2 Open source is working exactly as intended, yet everyone seems surprised. I don’t understand the shock. The whole point of open source AI is that it removes control over who the winners and losers are—everyone builds on what came before. DeeSeek’s success is a consequence, not a threat, to OS.

1/3 The frenzy around DeepSeek online is fascinating, but much of the discussion is based on incorrect assumptions. The lack of skepticism from most commentators is especially surprising.

1/2 I’m just a small being with limited power and energy, and that’s OK. It’s easy to feel pulled toward everything, trying to fix all the world’s despair, only to get overwhelmed and escape into your phone, or TV, or mindless ‘self optimizations’.

I’m trying to like it, but BlueSky so far feels like the law school library.

1/1 The current narrative pushed by some in the AI industry, particularly those seeking government investment for electricity, land, and resources to power their AI models, is overly dramatic and misrepresents the state of the technology.

The descent into a caricature of a republic has begun. It’s remarkable how many Americans proudly claim they read Animal Farm in school, yet so few seem to recognize the story playing out around them.

1/6 If President Trump issues an executive order extending the enforcement grace period for the TikTok 'ban', it's essential to recognize that this action is not unprecedented. The executive branch has long exercised discretion in enforcing laws.

It’s fascinating to see how people who make a living staging TikTok dances and those who make a living posting bumbling hot takes online have suddenly become constitutional law experts, free speech advocates, and national security scholars since the TikTok “ban” became the national story.

Imagine if people, the media, and regulators paid as much attention to fossil fuel companies, pharmaceutical giants, food retailers, predatory universities, for-profit medical providers, insurance companies, and law enforcement as they do to social media companies.
