New #charcoal drawing. I recently bought a bigger notebook and this was the first drawing with the new paper. It’s a sugar cane watercolor paper I bought in case I wanted to add other mediums on top of my charcoals.

New #charcoal drawing. I am so so so happy and in love with this piece. I had first considered going over this with some super thinned out watercolor after a clear coat to give it a filter look. I’m thinking I’ll keep it this way now though.

Worked with water colors. Inspired by a woman I took the photo of once in a dementia unit of a care home. She was crowned the Valentine’s Day Queen with a red balloon tied to her wheelchair. She was not mentally present. One of the more moving photos I took that I could never show.

I also do photography professionally and as an art. Found this the other day at my local boardwalk. Thought what a trip the words were written in a portal sticker then I saw the Coast Guard boat and got this idea.
