I 1000% did. I work for a large global company and we have no one above 75-in a company of over 10,000. Why? Because retirement. My 20-year old shouldn’t have an 80-year old representing her interests. That’s common sense-not ageism.

I don’t remember saying age was the only disqualifying factor. If you truly live here you know that Mills is deeply unpopular with a large swath of Mainers. She won’t win independents or certainly republicans and she would need to in order to beat Collins.

Mills was begged by the people in Maine not to run. They don’t want her. Even those of us who appreciate what she’s done as Governor do not support her and there are a large number of Mainers who despise her.
