Yeah. For conditions like we have now, mostly snow, front tire is enough. Yesterday I didn't feel penalized by no studs in the back. A bit of spin under power happens with 2 rows of studs too
Other situations where the surface is completely frozen and fairly flat, two are needed, like in the pic

Finally went on the small "peninsula" south of Bloor on the Humber. I found the entrance early summer but today is the first time I went down the trail.
Well, I walk there from the frozen river a few years back and I canoed to it.
Nice to still be able to find new walks in the neighbourhood.
