Calling it "obviously insane" shows your bias and suggests that you wouldn't accept that, true or not.

I think it depends on the data and rationale. Plenty of non-binary people lean AGAB, which suggests something important. There are a lot of takeaways that must be analyzed rather than written off as insane. Likewise, detransition data doesn't necessarily mean all those folks aren't transgender.

I'd be interested in a source for that figure. I'd also be interested in a figure for how many become "nutjobs" after medical transition. You don't have to actually transition to say you did and then try to "destroy" us. And punishing everyone else because a few are bad faith is a win for them.

Ugh. What is true is the trans community supports each other and doesn't have time/energy to prop up someone burning our meager progress to the ground. Re: your comments on the current DSM, for example. You should be happy it's less difficult for us than it was for you, not spiteful.

For sure. I appreciate your words, all of them. Half of my rage comes from ongoing despair. The stuff I mention in other replies to her was from a podcast she recorded between Election Day and Inauguration Day. It was a huge betrayal at the worst possible time.

I'm raging against her because I don't have a voice, but she uses hers to harm our community. Not only trans women, but non-binary people, and the wider LGBTQ+ community. I would love to see her come around. She seemed like an awesome person at one time. Broke my lil trans heart, she did.

It's easy to find an example of unhinged harassment. She will never admit she was wrong to deny non-binary people, to support AGP diagnosis, to trivialize the approval process for bottom surgery, to gatekeep her own community. How can you defend this, Brianna Wu? I'm not threatening you.

I don't know why you're entertaining Wu's bad faith here. She is gatekeeping because she got hers. Most of us don't deserve transition, according to her. We need to be evaluated thoroughly by people that hate us before we're allowed to address suicidal ideation with proven treatments.
