Beautiful and banksy like. Growing up in San Diego was a gift. My little girl brain thought about very big things. Freeways warning signs meant be cautious of crossing immigrant families. I was afraid for them imagining the danger they faced. Ingrained awareness and empathy.

This is LA.To witness your mom and/or dad violently pulled away by masked street scums is traumatic enough. Handcuffing those children indicates dismal abuse in detention. And these folks aren’t being deported. They’re being jailed indefinitely without due process. My heart breaks everyday.

I don’t understand it either. We finally bought here in LA. Our small 2 story 1930 farmhouse is on a mountainside w 1.5 acres. It’s significantly valued lower than bland remodels in our area. Here’s our little castle. Flabbergasted but grateful we found it.

Ppl are now afraid to hike in Griffith Park. We’re on the brink of shutting down. Not only are they taking our ppl they’re fucking with our way of life. And a footnote is we’re one of the world’s most popular tourist destinations.

LAUSD is a model for every blue city. They’re doing everything they can to protect their students and children in the communities. The families are so important to us.

Sweet! My husband shops at our farmers market every Sunday. He brings me gorgeous native flowers that fill me and our home with fragrance & joy. The flowers change with the season. One bloom does it too
