CDC Boundless in the spotlight at a @SeCan meeting this week. This yellow field pea has good lodging resistance, mean seed prot conc of 23.8%, good yielding ability, resistant to powdery mildew and moderately susceptible to Mycosphaerella blight and Fusarium root rot

We form part of the adaptive breeding in this peaCE project with phenotyping and genotyping the peaMAGIC population: a eight founder line inbred population for pyramiding seed protein concentration and root rot resistance.

Meet our latest yellow field pea cultivar - CDC Canuck, released in 2024 by the @CDC_USask for distribution by Secan Association.

Meet CDC Huskie, another of our more recent green field pea cultivars, released in by the Crop Development Centre, USask, for distribution to Select seed growers through the Variety Release Committee of the Saskatchewan Pulse Growers.
