Poster advertising my next jewellery making workshop - a pretty illusion necklace and earrings. Sunday August 10th in Gnosall, Staffordshire- 2 -4.30pm . The workshop costs £30. An illusion necklace is a necklace made with beads spaced out on beading wire and fixed in place to give the impression that the beads are floating around the neck - so this necklace is also known as a floating necklace. The necklace in the photo is made in a selection of pink and white glass pearls, but participants will be able to choose from a very large selection of beads in many colours to make their own jewellery

The sun came out this morning for a short while and so did the butterflies!
Only counted 16 overall ( not high) but three new species to this years count added - 2 Red admirals, 2 small tortoiseshells & 1 holly blue all made debut appearances today

I think I have jewellery for every occasion.
Over the years I’ve worn my jewellery to work events, climbing munros and nature walks, concerts & festivals, parties, weddings, funerals, sports events and even to a Royal Garden party

No making today! Too hot to knit even with wire, no-one would want sweat covered earrings 😂
So instead I reorganised my earrings displays and added a lot of my newly knitted pieces from last week. All of my new earrings will be coming with me to Saturday’s craft market in the Cosy Hall, Newport
