For us ordinary folks -- Tons of trolls, loudmouths, and general time-wasters will suddenly pop up when they recognize a new opportunity to advertise themselves.
Check out their posts, their frequency. If in doubt -- block! If they have valid content, it will still come through as retweets.

Hmm. It's not "fun," but it is valuable work. I had to have a strong stomach, be prepared before going there, and have a prayerful cleansing session after reading. But thanks for the approval.

I can't block these stupid Catturd posts. If you keep on posting them, I'll block YOU.

I'll pay Hiroshi a visit as soon as I'm able to get up and around again!

A year ago I was hospitalized for a week. One of the symptoms was a problem with bowel control. The nurse's aide kept telling me "poop jokes." When I didn't laugh, he nudged me -- come on! It's a joke! Then told me another. But if you complain, the nurse's aide can get vindictive.

Yes. Professional wrestling. Jerry Springer. Et al. Add men with brains in their dicks, and you've got Trump's supporters.

They're mamas of sons. And they've succumbed to the powerful value that mama's son can do no wrong. A daughter can always do wrong and shame you, given the heightened standards expected of her. But boys can bring no shame, and so must be coddled.

So how much sea-level rise would be enough to render Mar-O'Lago uninhabitable? And how much temperature rise would be needed to achieve that rise?

Are we looking at a 2-foot rise? Would that be 0.5 degrees of temperature rise? If so, wouldn't it be worth it?

Congratulations, Your Honor!

You mean, is there a law that says the Attorney General should never be drug tested for anything. Ahem?

Rephrase your question, an specify drug testing for *what*, and *by whom*, under what circumstances? Really Judd -- you ought to know better.

Source or origin is VITAL. It should be the first think that is is mentioned. As in, "According to So-and-so, published in Loudmouth News, under title of "Bullshit no one should believe," page 0-00, ---"

And then you'll have to define "politics." And once you're done, your time is up, and they'll want you to sit down and shut up.

Whose bright idea was this? I hope the OED sues.

I was acquainted with Dan Rayfield in law school, and was favorably impressed. I still am.

In those days, adults still had vivid memories of WWII, and a fair amount of faith in the government to do the right thing.

Oh, I wasn't doubting you! Just a comment. And I'm glad you and your dogs get to enjoy that stream of water over the rocks.

I used to think if I explained, as they asked, they would have some level of appreciation. Instead, when I was young, I'd hear "Don't smart-mouth me!" Once into adulthood, I just got a stream of insults about women.
Then I went to law school, and learned to demand their evidence for their claim.

I'm happy to report that "my" Johnson Creek is much cleaner than it used to be. I wasn't aware of a Johnson Creek on the west side.

I presume that's Ireland, but it looks just like my Oregon right about now. Surprise sun-breaks are a gift.

You could have just paid for him. Folks have done that for me a few times when I was caught in a bind. And I've helped karma along and done the same for others.

Some guys look really dapper, cute, with their bow-tie styles. You could celebrate "bow-tie Tuesday" and soon be the talk of the town.

My dad was the guy with the bolo tie. I loved them! In the 1990's when I worked for the tribes, we'd travel to various western reservations for business, and I'd pick up an Indian bolo tie slide for him from the local museum. He developed quite a collection.

I don't know where precisely you are, but in the 1960's me and other kids used to go down to the crick just below 92nd, and play around. It was basically an open sewer, and crap used to back up behind those rivulets where the rocks are.
