I'm not saying Nick Rhodes was on stage tonight in Manchester channelling Moira Rose in "The Crows Have Eyes 3: The Crowening", but I'm not *not* saying it either.

The more I read about this story, the more I'm convinced it's a promo stunt for Kelly Reichardt's The Mastermind.

Delighted to be part of bringing Urchin to audiences. Harris Dickinson and Frank Dillane gorgeously insightful in their q&as.

Absolutely floored by The Voice of Hind Rajab which just premiered in Venice. I've never been to a screening before where people were leaving the theatre sobbing. Even the press show had 3+ mins of applause, which is far from the norm.

Venice Film Festival. Evening adventure featuring a rare visit to the mainland from Lido on a beautiful evening after the rain storms. Back to cinema duties first thing in the morning.

World Premiere of 28 Years Later in London's Leicester Square... can't wait for everyone to see it up on the big screen.

MA FRÈRE, directed by
Lise Akoka and Romane Gueret... an absolute gem, one of my favourites of the festival. The kids are brilliant, so are the adults. Watch it as soon as you get the chance.

I don't disagree but I'd add the Copenhagen Coffee Lab in as a strong second

Cruise is a surprise guest at the McQuarrie Rendez-Vous in Cannes. A cheeky amuse-bouche ahead of tonight's Mission: Impossible world premiere...

Loving #miniberlin aka Stockport right now. The Mekong Cat is a genuine treasure for Vietnamese food. Loving the Yellow Hammer Bakery too, and Rare Mags independent book shop is brilliant for a browse - I rarely leave empty handed. Lower Hillgate over Oxford Street any day of the week.

Hugely enjoyable night out at the Barbican's inaugural London Soundtrack Festival, watching The Silence of the Lambs on the big screen, featuring Howard Shore's brilliant, brooding score performed live by the Academy of St Martin in the Fields, conducted by Ben Palmer. More live scores please.

'Adolescence' is an incredible achievement. One of the most empathetic dramas I've watched. Brilliant performances, beautiful writing & an astonishing technical achievement. Well done to Plan B, Warp, Jack Thorne, Stephen Graham & Hannah Walters, Philip Barantini and their fellow collaborators.

And the Bafta for Best Film goes to... The Real Cardinals of Vatican City!

By a mile my favourite event we brought to the Prince Charles Cinema was a special screening of The Phantom Thread where Alan Parker interviewed PTA and confirmed that PTA had indeed hoyed a vhs cassette of his short film into AP's car via the window when he was at film school to get his attention.

Another evening at the office, this time getting to bring Jeremy Strong and Jesse Armstrong together in Soho to talk all things The Apprentice. Funny, engaging, intense and fascinating, a proper treat for the whole audience, me included.

Special screening of the gorgeous 4k restoration of 'SE7EN' at the Prince Charles Cinema. 30 years on, it never gets old. A masterpiece.
