We're back at The Print Room this Saturday with more fun printmaking activities for kids.
So far sessions have covered collagraph using cardboard and recycled materials, tetra pack printing and plant printing using flowers and natural materials.

Artist Hannah Imlach currently has a print on show at Aberdeen Art Gallery as part of their 'Works on Paper - Women Artists' exhibition. The print was made for Hannah's "Energy Objects" exhibition back in 2019. Handstone is based on Imlach's photograph of a saddle quern taken on North Uist.

Participants were guided through the collagraph process by Jenny, utilising recycled cardboard, string and other materials to create weird and wonderful designs.

Last Friday saw Peacock return to Snug at The Anatomy Rooms for another printmaking workshop using everyone's favourite Danish modular building block system. We loaded our rollers with ink and used our portable press to make some fun and creative prints showcasing the versatility of printmaking.

As the dusky clouds settled over the Denburn, illuminated text slowly revealed itself on Rosemount Viaduct as people made their way home.
