As Axis keeps staring at the child, he starts to think.
"...OKAY. FIRST OFF: THAT IS A YOUNG MONSTER.
THEREFORE, I CANNOT ATTACK THEM."
The child asks with her choked, quiet voice, possibly due to crying too much,
"h-hello?"
However, Axis seems to ignore her.
"SECOND OFF: THEY'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE IN HERE.
...HOW DID THEY EVEN MANAGE TO GET THROUGH SECURITY???????"
[PANEL 2]
Axis looks down, slightly disappointed.
"I THOUGHT THERE WOULD BE A TOUGH FIGHT, BUT I THINK THIS IS EVEN WORSE..."
Anyhow, he needs to protect the Steamworks. For the Future of Monsterkind.
Even if that means interrogating a child, he thinks.

Axis, very bluntly, points his finger towards the child and squints his visors.

The child is surprised at first, but quickly gathers herself together.
"O-oh, uh... S-sorry, let me..."
She wipes her face with her arm, and lets out a small sniff.
"...I'm Kanako..."
"I-I got here because my Dad invited us, and he told me to stay in the waiting room while he and Mom went somewhere..."
"..but I was bored and decided to look around, and.... N-now I'm lost..."

Kanako silently hopes this robot won't start to chase him after all that sudden explanation. Fortunately, and surprisingly, Axis perks up at the very sound of her name, and stiffens in what she can describe to be shock.

Axis shifts his head downwards to glare, with an angry expression on his eyes.
