As I’m longarming my quilt, I learned that Fableism is produced by Cottoneer. Cottoneer has been following moms4liberty for awhile now (years). I didn’t realize they were one and the same and now it feels icky to support them by purchasing their fabric going forward. Thoughts?

Also - the texture of these wovens are soooooo damn nice. They are painful to see with but very much worth the end result

If you love your longarmer, sew a victory lap around your entire quilt top at 1/8th inch. It is so helpful and keeps all the edges secure.

If you love your longarmer, sew a victory lap around your entire quilt top at 1/8th inch. It is so helpful and keeps all the edges secure.

I really love the simple look of the double Irish chain pattern. I’d really love to make another one of these with some more neutral colors. I kept calling this my rapunzel quilt because it reminds me of her dress. 😂💜

This project was in collaboration with two friends Erin (@seamrippersociety) & Elysha (@quiltblocked). It documents the amount of miles a person must travel in the USA to get abortion care during May 2024. We based this off of the NPR map which I have linked in my bio.
