I've mentioned previously that the Flayer Virus can't transmit easily amongst humans, except for circumstances that contaminate the blood. This is because the virus acclimates to the carrier's genes as it replicates, which is also why Flayed Ones aren't contagious to humans, since Necrons lack DNA.

I like to think Belisarius Cawl was muscular when he was younger, but started to gain weight after the Ezekiel incident. Like he gradually got chubbimy with age, as well as his augmentations getting more intense. But then I feel bad about it when I remember Cawl alao got evil.

When I imagine Friedisch' outfit, I see it as umber or light burgundy, in contrast to the scarlet robes Techpriests usually don, if they're from Mars. Friedisch never got to graduate though (blame Horus and Abbadon), so officially he's still an Acolytum.

The Flayer Virus is transmitted between humans via blood to blood contact, but other vectors, such as dogs, can transmit it through saliva. Flayed Ones can't give you the virus if you're human. Actually, they'll just kill you.

Talking more about my Flayer Priest character. He started testing Necrodermis on canines, because they're inexpensive, plentiful, and friendlier than human subjects. He thought so, until a specimen mauled him, and two of his tech-brothers (neither aware of his heresy)
