My therapist’s office. We sit under a big old tree, in rusty, creaky metal fold up chairs painted red and blue. The air is fresh. Horses wander by us, coming and going as they please, stopping for a sniff once in a while. Dulci has decided I am her person while I am there.

Although I also knit/crochet/tunisian crochet, I use an Addi circular knitting machine to make hats to donate to the less fortunate. Been trying to get a head start for this year so I can meet my goal of 150. Last year I did 100.

I come from a very proud military aircraft family. My mother worked for Northrop for 40 years, my dad was at Hughes for 30. My brother spent 25 years working on Harriers in the Marines. How can the name of a great military machine like the Enola Gay threaten these tiny little men? FFS! 🤦🏻♀️

My son is 45yo today. When I think of what we’ve been through together, it blows my mind. But he is my best friend, my ride or die buddy, and has held my heart in his hands from the moment he was born, when I was barely 18. Happiest of birthdays, my darling boy. You are my everything 💖

I’m the only employee at my office that works from home (due to health issues). When I have to call out for my own illness or to take care of my 80yo husband’s health, the lack of empathy from my co-workers is palpable. Anyone else gets the “feel better/let us know if you need anything” text.
