My most basic music opinion in November 2025 is that the auctioneer sample from that AJR song absolutely slaps.

My choices for the worst two seconds of the year in music:

2. Any two seconds in "Wood"

3. "I can make deals with the devil because my dick's bigger."

4. "Pledge allegiance to your hands, your team, your vibes"

I think the biggest appeal of Sombr is that they're like The 1975 without the problematic lead singer.

Lost in the Robbie Williams "Better Man" discussion is the fact that he released a song in late 2008 with the Pet Shop Boys called "We're the Pet Shop Boys" — and it hit #5 on the US Billboard Dance chart.

"Rock DJ", by comparison, only hit #24 on the same chart.

Addison Rae "Diet Pepsi" sticks like a splinter in my brain because she does a DOWNWARD key change on her last chorus. Isn't she aware that Da Rules says you're supposed to go UP on a key change?!?

According to the Rick Dees Weekly Top 40 year end chart, Dua Lipa won the "Battle of the Houdinis" this year -- her song came in at #14, while Eminem clocked in at #36.

(Of course, Foster the People won the War of the Houdinis 13 years ago.)
