They're beholden to wealthy donors, not to the large majority of people who voted for this. Pretty simple.

They also swept protest camps and posted no trespassing signs on public property in support of ICE. This is not even to mention PPBs casual brutality towards ICE protesters. There is little question whose side they're on...

I mean, define participate because the lines are getting real blurry. Portland has 30-40 PPB officers basically permanently stationed at and around the ICE building at the south waterfront. This may not be directly "participating", but it is actively chilling first amendment protected protests.

Why are there 30 Portland Police officers now permanently at the South Waterfront protecting ICE while they kidnap our neighbors? They are harassing protesters and chilling first amendment protected activity, and our City Council is silent.

Any updates, since PPB is assisting ICE daily, as well as just sweeping the camp set up in protest of ICE?

As far as sleeping I find that reading fiction right before bed or in bed helps quiet my mind.
